Second Time The Charm, LOL?

I finished the second rewrite and corrections of "Haxan" for Beneath Ceaseless Skies and sent the manuscript in yesterday.

Now I really much buckle down and finish "High Moon" this week.  Must, must, must.

Sounds like you've got a to-do list like I do. I'm editing two manuscripts, trying to write another novel inbetween the edits...
How are you approaching that? When I have something like that facing me I tend to do the edits first to get the almost-finished stories out of the way. How are you parsing your time with these 3 projects?
Mostly I'm just letting whichever project wants to be worked on call the shots. I was trying to work on Ashes to Ashes, my 1906 Frisco Earthquake novel, but the brain went dry.

So I hopped on over to Ante Up - present day Las Vegas Urban fantasy - and it's going along well.

The new project is outlined, and I wrote up the first chapter to get the main character to shut up. He's very pushy.

I'm sure my whole method will go to hell once I get an agent... Then I'll have someone else setting my deadlines.
I've tried skipping around like that, too, but it doesn't seem to work for me. I usually have to stick with a single project until it's finished or I determine it no longer has value and then I can set it aside without any qualms. :(
I wish I could do that. But I think I have ADD when it comes to creative endeavors. Of course when I run out of projects, then I'll be screwed. LOL
Good job; rewrites are annoying.
Aren't they though? It's like you want to get 'em out of the way so you can hurry up and move on to something else, haha. But yet they niggle at you until you've made 'em happy....
congrats on finishing the rewrites. They are one of the hardest parts of the work.

rewrites

I often find them to be mere donkey work, which I loathe. I already know the story in my head, how it should be perfected, and yet I have to actually go and rewrite it so that it matches my vision!

There seems to be something fundamentally wrong with that. I should be able to wish the story correct and move on, lol. :)
